Sacred Spaces in Profane Buildings was an exhibit at Storefront for Art and Architecture by artist Matilde Cassani. The exhibit was a study on the improvisation of religious spaces in New York City. Patrons were asked to participate and submit photos, videos and descriptions of their discoveries in the city. The submittals were posted on the Sacred Spaces blog I created and a select number of them were then included in the actual exhibit. More about Matilde and the exhibit can be read here.
