Bushwick Happy Hour is a creative collective of interaction and graphic designers, film makers, photographers, and set designers living in Bushwick, Brooklyn. I created the collective with my partner, Andy Gillette, in the summer of 2013 in lieu of pursing a summer internship between my first and second year of graduate school. The goal of the collective is to utilize the naturally formed network of creatives in our neighborhood to work on projects that improve the places and events happening here.
We currently work with Arts in Bushwick and Bushwick Open Studios, creating all collateral for the 3-day long BOS event that promotes over 700 artists in the Bushwick area. We also organize Presentation Party Night, a monthly peer lecture series in Bushwick and we occasionally host out of town designers for workshops and collaborations to continue growing our network.
